Official Bio

Garland is a hyper-connector, talent/career strategist and leadership business partner. She has 8 years’ experience within the commercial real estate industry and over 15 years’ experience within talent acquisition. She is an adjunct professor at the USC Price School.  In addition, she works extensively with a variety of university organizations, professional development organizations, employee resource groups and community leaders to build bridges and impactful partnerships. Her mission is to solve problems by increasing the number of seats at the table and by broadening the makeup of the people who occupy those seats. By doing this, she believes all interests can be met and all parties can win. 

Garland is also the creator and host of “Full Circle with Garland,” a weekly podcast where she dives into conversations with diverse entrepreneurs, executives and thought leaders who share her interest in greater social impact, true inclusion, and sustainable wealth building. Lastly, she’s on the board of African American Real Estate Professional Los Angeles (AAREP LA), the Advisory Board for Real Estate Association of Latinx professional (REAL) and an Advisory Board member of ULI Los Angeles. She was named one of Bisnow’s SoCal Power Women in 2021.
